Nerd Weekend!

Some high school buddies are coming over today so that we can partake in some past time activities... Mainly over-dubbing 60's era Star Trek episodes.

Instead of smoking dope and getting drunk in high school, we use to over-dub movies and TV series with our own voices. It was actually very hilarious at the time and we still have most of those tapes from high school that we can still look back at.

This weekend marks the return of those days. Plans are to convert the old tapes into digital format because time is starting take their effect of the magnetic VHS tapes. I'll probably do this with a new Mac that I plan on buying shortly. Basically I'll take the audio from the VCR in my PowerBook and at least capture the audio on MP3. When I get a fast computer, I'll use DVDs of the episodes to capture the video and use iMovie and iDVD to generate DVDs with them. FUN!!!! [I'm a geek]

Salsa!

The time has come for me to shake my booty... Latin style!

For some strange reason, I've been wanting to learn how to dance for some time. I guess salsa is as good a point to start as any other.

Any viewers out there know of a good dance studio in Tulsa that teaches Salsa, let me know! I'm looking at Tulsa Community College as well, but it might not have the same "flair".

Frozen Fingers

I would like to keep playing with this blog this morning, but it's 13°F outside and I can't get my apartment warm right now. Quite frankly, my fingers are getting too stiff to type.

Blog Template

I must commend Lilia for her template "Beckett", which is what I'm using here at THeXtreme, but I'm currently taking her code to the next level. It's kind of cool you can customize your template here at Blogspot.

1st thing that must go is the lOUser crimsom red that is the default color in the header. I've downloaded the CSS code that the template pulls from www.typepad.com and will make the necessary changes so that I'm not looking at my Alma Matter's arch rival's colors. I'm thinking a nice shade of orange is in order.

Actually, I kind of like the way the red contrasts with black and greys, but I will probably go ahead and change it.

Woot!

Welcome! This is my new blog spot (get it?) as I'm moving from MSN Spaces.

I'm looking forward to using this space.

Cheers!
